Smart Choices
All food served in the
tuckshop complies with the Queensland Government’s Smart Choices strategy to offer
healthy food and drink choices to students in Queensland schools.
The menu is mainly comprised
of ‘green’ items, meaning that it is appropriate to ‘have plenty’ of these
items. A limited number of ‘amber’ items, which should be ‘selected carefully’
are available in limited serving sizes.
How to Order
We offer the convenience of
placing orders online using the QKR app. Please see the links to the right on this page for further information. Orders need to be placed by
8.30am. Orders can be placed in advance
and on a recurring basis if that is your preference.
We pride ourselves on providing a quality service to the school community, however at times mistakes happen. If there is an issue with an order, we are always happy to rectify. Students must advise the Tuckshop on the day, either themselves or through a teacher. If the Tuckshop is notified after the Tuckshop closes, we are unable to provide a refund.
We understand that every now and then you may need to cancel an order. Please email cancellations to csstshop@gmail.com. However, if the cancellation is on the day of the order, please call before 9.30am on 3716 2331. If it is after this time, we are unable to provide a refund. Food Delivery
Food items are
delivered to the classroom. If a child receives a red dot on their bag, then
they need to come to the tuckshop counter. This could be to get change of more
than $2 or to collect a frozen item that has been ordered online.
Helping in the
Tuckshop
Parent volunteers are
essential to the running of our school tuckshop. The trading committee is
always seeking new volunteers to assist. If you are able to volunteer please
contact Pam at csstshop@gmail.com. Tasks could include labelling bags, cutting, boxing pizza, packing bags. Drop in for a quick 30 minutes or stay all day, either way Pam will love to see some new faces giving a helping hand.
