Use of school facilities

The use of school facilities by the community after school and on weekends is welcomed, provided written permission has been sought.

Please email or phone the school to obtain an application to use school facilities.


Tennis courts

Corinda State School offers three tennis courts for hire before and after school hours, on weekends and on public holidays and school holidays. The tennis courts are hard surface, with an adjoining undercover area with seating and a water bubbler. The council toilets between the tennis court and the soccer field on the hill are unlocked by around 6am each day and are locked up again between 6pm and 7pm. Please ensure that all children using these facilities are accompanied by an adult, for safety.

Courts can be booked online up to seven days in advance. Payment options are credit card or PayPal (if using PayPal, please ensure that you have access to the email address linked to the PayPal account as your access code and instructions are automatically sent to this email address).

Courts can be hired for $12/hour during the day or $14/hour at night (after 6pm).

Hours of Operation:
6.00 am - 8.30 am school days
3.00 pm - 10.00 pm school days
6.00 am - 10.00 pm weekends and school holidays and Queensland and national public holidays

All bookings, pricing information, availability information and codes for access to the security keypad are done via the online booking system.  For queries outside of these key areas, please call or text 0408 188 653. Please note that this phone is monitored by a volunteer parent and will not be always be able to be responded to immediately.

General rules

  • Facilities cannot be used for any purpose that will cause dissent in the community
  • Facilities cannot be used by private individuals without the Principal's permission
  • An adult must be responsible for children using such facilities
  • Dogs are not permitted on school grounds
  • Organisations or individuals using these facilities are expected to be responsible in usage and protect property from damage
  • Drugs and alcohol are not permitted on school premises
