Our program presents the opportunity for every child to understand the contribution music makes in one's life. It aims to develop the child's:
- awareness of music
- response to music
- self expression in music
- knowledge and skills in music
The school program has three elements:
Classroom music program
- singing
- listening
- playing instruments
- movement
- creating
Choral music program
- Junior Choir Years 1 - 3
- Senior Choir Years 4 - 6
Instrumental music program
- Lessons are offered for strings, percussion, woodwind and brass instruments
- Students have one 30 minute lesson each week
- The strings program commences in Year 3
- The band program (percussion, woodwind and brass) commences in Year 4
