Inter-school sport is offered to students in Yrs 5-7 on a Friday afternoon. The sports offered are decided after the West Taylor Bridge Sports meeting, which representatives from local schools attend early each year. Usually teams are entered in Soccer and Netball (March to June) and Baseball and Softball (August to November).
Children are encouraged to take part in these matches and to attend regular training sessions at lunch times, before or after school. Students in Yrs 4 - 7 who do not participate in Inter-school sports will be involved in Sport / game / fitness activities at school on Friday afternoons. Students in P-3 participate in Sport / game / fitness activities at school at other times during the week.
An Inter-house Athletics Carnival is held usually mid year with opportunities for all interested children in Yr 4-7 to compete. Students in P-3 participate in a Junior Sports Day later in the year. Each child will be assigned to a house with children in the one family being in the same house. The house names are Moffatt (maroon/red), Francis (yellow) and Dunlop (blue). It is expected that all children participate in sport as it is part of the school curriculum.
